Christchurch Casino
Description:
This Casino was the first in New Zealand to open its door to the public
in November 1994. This building follows an Egyptian based theme and is
a privately owned boutique casino. It boasts 500 gaming machines, 37 tables,
3 bars, 2 restaurants and a private gaming lounge.
Open 24 hours a day.
There is plenty of nightlife in Christchurch and they now have a Casino
which is close to the Town Hall and some Hotels. There is a free shuttle
that operates to and from local hotels/motels each evening after 6.00pm.
You need to be 20 years or over and the dress code requires smart casual
(no blue/black jeans or track pants). There are the usual restaurants
and bars.
