Although warm all year round, with temperatures ranging from 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahreheit) to 36 degrees Celsuis ( 100 degrees Fahrenheit) it can feel cold at night during March and April. From February to April, a hot sandstorm called a 'Khamsin' blows intermittently, although never for more than eight hours at any one time.
